Emptylakes is an attempt to showcase photography sets in a visually minimalistic environment. All present photographs are selected works of recent projects. The gallery will be growing gradually and shape a representative overview of my portfolio. Please feel free to make constructive suggestions using the email address given in the contact section. Your feedback would be highly appreciated.
Not being a full-time photographer, trying to make a living out of it, entails one major benefit. Unrestricted freedom of choice. I only engage in projects that are important to me. This fortunate position enables me to approach every venture as something new and pristine. That said, I don't consider any of this work as special, let alone 'art'. Neither am I an artist, nor do I strive to be one. All I do is to pull the trigger.
If you do something, you might as well do it right. I attempt to keep acting on a high level of professionalism, without abandoning the pleasure of this work. Photography is an ongoing learning experience and I am grateful for everybody who decides to be a part of it. As I consequently regard every photograph as common property of portrayed persons and me, they are free to utilize the photos in any way.
